5TA827566B rear-view cam wiring diagram

Featured Replies

Guys!

Has anybody access to VW (VAG) parts wiring diagrams?

I'd need diagram for 5TA827566B rear-view cam with washing nozzle. What makes it "special" it has two +12 wires. One is permanent and other is reverse light signal... And I'm not sure which is which.

Thanks in advance!

Hello.
To recap:
+ Reverse ......... Red wire .... got connected to the reverse lamp wire near the headlight plug (disassembled right headlight).
+ Subkey ...... ..... Black wire taken with doubler fuses in the fuse storage compartment behind the left side of the steering wheel, there is one empty near a blue fuse.
- Brown wire ........ .... took a small hole 3mm in a body supporting the right upright few centimeters after the bellows inside the gland.

You sure black is permanent +12V feed and brown ground (-)? I used black for ground, brown for reverse light signal +12V and red for permanent +12V feed - and it works apart from occasional "Park pilot currently not available" error, which could maybe go away if I switch red and brown wires?

Hello.

In my camera the brown wire had un'occhiello and was to force the Negative.

To insert the camera 5F you program the module with the VAG cable.

Then depending on the type of camera that installs and from Satnav model you have, or Noh need an additional video module.

I installed mine with a genuine skoda camera and wiring loom. The brown came with an eyelet and was connected the -ve. Black was used for a +ve picked up inside the boot. Red (very long cable) was route to the fusebox for permanent +ve. Worked right from the start and no errors experienced

Ok. Tried connecting brown to ground (-) and black to +12V - camera didnt't work anymore, so it seems wire colors on my camera are different. You got same VAG part number camera as me?

I did however switch +12V wires, connecting red to reverse and brown to permanent - will see how camera behaves now and if I get park assist error again in next days...

Hello.

But the 5F module you have programmed with these codes?

infotainment - 5F

Byte 19 Bit 4

park assist - 10

RVC enabled

Yes, some while ago, without that camera wouldn't even be working...

It seems switching red and brown wires did the trick, no error since.

Hello.

If I do not mistranslated, I gather that you have solved .......

I'm glad.

For me, red to reverse, brown to permanent, black to ground, did the trick. But be advised, my camera is 5TA827566B - so it might be different with yours.
