Colour Edition Question.

Featured Replies

Hey up all...

The wife has just been and signed the paperwork for her new colour edition today. The car had just been delivered to the dealership yesterday so first time she had seen it in the flesh.

Anyway.... I was under the impression from the website info and pics I'd seen online that the colour edition had the normal plastic steering wheel, normal plain dash and normal black/grey seats?

This one has the perforated leather flat bottom steering wheel, gloss white dashboard insert and dark grey quilted style seats???

Are these normal on the colour edition or has the Mrs happened to fall on a good deal???? (She's not paid for any extras or options).

She picks it up next Friday afternoon after she finishes work.

Looks like the car has the Dynamic Black Interior option fitted which is £300 extra so if you are not getting charged for it you are getting a good deal.

Just looked at the Citigo brochure and it looks like the car has the small leather pack (steering wheel), the dynamic white dashboard insert..... And the seats are a mystery as can't see anything like them in the brochure. They seem similar to the ones from the SE L.... But the brochure seems to show them as diamond pattern on the outer edges and plain in the middle and these have the diamond quilting in the middle with plain fabric on the outside.

Anyway she isn't complaining.... We're wondering if it was lined up to be a dealership demonstrator or courtesy car etc....

double check your paperwork and make sure you haven't "accidentally" been charged for it

if not and you are happy with the additions, then happy days

No not been charged any extra just the standard price for the three door colour edition..... So happy days. :D

It might not actually be the correct car. PDI might raise some eyebrows. Sincerely hope not.

Our fabia colour edition cams with factory navigation when it shouldn't have

Salesman was surprised as well

The citigo colour edition comes with the PID Inc sat nav as standard. :)

It's definitely a colour edition as we have been in it and taken it out for a quick test drive. When I was originally enquiring about a colour edition in black on the PCP deal they had on the website they checked the systems and confirmed they only had one black one in stock and this is the one.

Maybe it was a cancelled order where someone added the options before changing their minds? Or possibly was going to be a dealer demonstrator?

Further digging does seem to confirm it has the dynamic interior option (having seen images with the leather steering wheel and quilted seats)..... The only thing throwing me at present is the white dash insert rather than black for the dynamic interior option..... Unless the dash insert still had a plastic protection film on it that was a very shiny white?????

If not it has the dynamic white insert... Either way the Mrs likes it.
