Hi guys,I have a Vrs Octavia manufactered on sept 2007.Is it a pre FL model? If so what is the difference between both?

It is a pre FL.

bonnet, grill. front bumper, fog lights, headlights, wings.... basically the front end. Google mk2 and play spot the difference

......and if it's petrol, the engine has a cam chain vice a belt and hence the dreaded cam tensioner problem

Using the vRS as an example.

 

FL (facelift) on top, pre-FL on the bottom...

 

I prefer the pre facelift to be honest

Also some dash changes - different climate panel, steering wheel and instrument pod and introduction of Bolero HU as standard.

The wing mirrors are noticeably bigger on the FL too.

Not sure why, but I really love the pre FL car with a FL bumper modified to fit.
