2 things disturb me about this photo;

(i) Appalling standards of tailoring, i.e ill fitting cheap suits.

(ii) All, but every one, obeying the Corporate message, and duly (& very badly) buttoned up, which only serves to highlight the poor tailoring.

Why on earth would anyone buy a car produced by such  badly dressed board members.

Are the Ateca and Kodiaq exactly the same thing but with subtle differences, like the old BMC badge-engineering cars of my youth?

Areca is much shorter than the Kodiaq.

No comparison to br honest.

The Seat Ateca is only 5 1/2" longer than the current Skoda Yeti.

A Kodiaq is nearly 19" longer than a Yeti.

 based on the MQB Platform the same as the VW Tiguan and other VW Group vehicles using that platform, Seat Leon included.

Only the AWD versions of the Ateca get multi-link rear suspension.

(The Kodiaq has a longer wheelbase.)
