as I bought the Skoda Octavia Mk.2 TDi 2004 December reg. I drive only with a spare key, I tried to figure out if this car is equipped with remote door locking option.

I made a picture of the sticker in the boot, used VW/Audi/Seat/Škoda Option Codes Decoder from Igorweb.org.

Could someone maybe help me out with advising me if the car is equipped with remote door locking.

Thank you, central locking should that include the remote keyless locking?

Doubt it. Otherwise it would be remote central locking system. Looks like you have a base spec model.

In that case I have to look out for a remote unit to implement.

Sure it can be retrofitted, try looking in the guides section.
