Media command and Smartgate issues

Hi, just wondered if anyone has come across these issues before. I've gone through the manual time and again and confirmed that the settings are as they should be.



By turning on and connecting my iphone to the Wifi hotspot, then launching the Media command app on the phone, I get this message:
The media command app has not been enabled in the infotainment system.


Also, by changing the connection to the Smartgate one that I can see on the phone, I still cannot get any data in the Skoda drive app.All I get is a message telling me to change the smart gate password from the default VIN number. Surely it can’t be that causing this behaviour?


It's driving me nuts, so any help would be appreciated.
