Yeah , what a great idea , a motorshow that you can't actually drive to..............

Why did they ever take it away from the NEC ?

The NEC used to be a great venue - it is a shame.

However - I'll still definitely be going to this one?

Maybe a Brisky meet? Or is this one best left for families and the like? - Just a thought.

it was at one day one year in London and then the next at birmingham. I used to prefer it in the NEC as I dont travel on the underground very well.

Looks like I will never go to a Motorshow again:(

I've added it to the Briskoda Calender!

i ment that there hasnt been an official for a couple of years, when u look at this one look so much more to it than then NEC one, :)

i reckon we could fill up half a car park with skoda's then get some press attention :D

That would require there to actually be a car park

It's ridiculous isn't it.

Birmingham was a central location accessible from most of the country.

If a family of four wants to go to the london one by train (because driving isn't an option) it'll cost them well over a hundred quid in fares before they even arrive

hang on

" Parking on site is by way of Park and Ride. We have approximately 11,000 satellite spaces where you can leave your car for only £5 and be transported directly to the venue. We also have disabled parking facilities available near to the venue."

The motor show used to be every two years at the NEC.

Inbetween there was the Motor Fair at Earls Court - so perhaps it's just a case of carefully chosen words.

yeah but not central to me :) this place is like 5 mins form my work

Motor Shows used to be a really big thing.I can't get enough enthusism or feel I want to go,ignoring the location problem.I do hope they make a big effort this time.

Doesn't seem to be a showcase for manufacturers anymore (this country anyway)

Doen't bother me. 45 mins on the Tube.

Anyway, just park in the Becton Sainsburys and get the DLR.

It is a shame, not many, if any manufacturers think of the British Motorshow as a place to unvail exclusive vehicles.

The Detroit show has just finished, and that for sure is the biggest as far as the Car industry is concerned. Certainly PAG (my employers) showed off 3 new models/ concepts this year, and Ford many more, though no Land Rover show car this year :(
