Uh Oh...looks like machine downtime...

Featured Replies

The office where a lot(8 of the 11) of the service machines reside are getting an upgrade to XP, originally all 2000, over the next two days - so looks like i will have to re-install everything again.

But with SkodaW on my tail - me thinks the tenth spot is now well and truelly in danger of being lost.

The machines will get their new image over the network, but i still reckon they will be fully down for 2 days total.

Oh well

Can the image not be altered a bit? ;) To include a little "extra" service? :D

Only currently got one cpu running 24/7, but some of the upgrades are now complete - just installed console as service on one of upgraded P4's went smoothly - that one is now back folding *sighs....

But i will be down around 8/9 cpus over w/e, unless i get chance today to get some more back up and running... so yes think you may get the edge on me SkodaW....

Finger biting stuff, can i just get em back up and running in time to keep 10th ;) still got around a 2800 lead i notice this morning :)

The machines will all be back up(only managing on 4 at mo) and running the console as service over the next couple of afternoons as i've got some updates ;) to do on the said machines :D

these are all gonna be set for big WU this time too - sod the little 40pointer stuff.

6 of the 14 done, would have been 8 but two have had some probs which i need to investigate as even though i've set them up like usuall, they havnt started as a service when re-booted - have to investigate this another time. Other 6 should be up and running tomorrow afternoon.

see how the 24 hr average looks after a few days
