So some eegit drove too close to me tonight and has cracked and broken my wing mirror indicator housing on my drivers side of my skoda rapid spaceback. Any ideas where I could pick the housing up from without having to go through a dealer to get it fixed as it's purely cosmetic so don't want to go through insurance and as they drove off I will bear the brunt of the cost!

Afraid it's main dealer only. It's too new a part for third-party copies to be in ready supply. Also too new for there to be breaker parts on eBay.

Would a Polo cover fit?  My partner has a Polo and they look exact same to me

It's the same part with the Toledo and the Fabia, p/n 6V0949102 for the right side. You can find it on ebay, it's cheap.

EDIT: I assumed that only the indicator glass is broken and everything else (mirror, mirror housing etc.) is intact. Also, I noticed the Skoda price is very low, you might want to go directly to the dealer for a quote.
