Another strut brace thread - but for the REAR this time!

Featured Replies

Read enough about the brace for the front, but haven't come across anyone who has done one for the rear of the Octi yet.

Any clues on this? I plan on making one myself so wondering if there is anything in particular I have to watch out for.

Loads of posts on this one of you do a search, several companies do them for the Octy vRS, I have the Neuspeed 28mm adjustable ARB, as I assume that is what you mean when you refer to a rear brace?

If not then you might be refering to the two braces already fitted into the rear of the OctyVRS behind the seats?

thanks Beretta. I was actually refering to the rear strut brace, not the anti roll bar.

I'm looking for something like this

Just wondering if anyone has already fitted these to an Octi and what difference has it made to the handling.

No probs mate, I was under the assumption that the two braces fitted behind the rear seats on the Octy vRS did the same thing as this brace, perhaps I am wrong?

The one you show would make it very awkward to carry anything large in the car, especially with the seats down.

Perhaps you can fit the vRS ones to your car?

never really seen the ones on the VRS that you are refering too. Any pics/info on these? Are these welded into the frame or would they be bolt on items? If the latter, then these would be perfect as I should be able to source them easily.
