         They are driving me insane, I have a corrida red Octavia and the birds around here have started to crap what is almost like pure yellow paint, it dries rock hard and wipers alone will not move it from the windscreen, I am washing my car 4 times a week to keep ahead of them. Does anyone else have this problem with yellow bird droppings? I swear if I had a yellow car the beggars would poop bright red. Grrrrrr!

I have a yellow car and the poxy creatures produce purple droppings down here

I've found the best way to avoid birds pooping on my car after it's been washed is to sit on the roof and **** on it myself.

Birds see the scent as a mark of my territory and thus don't **** on it.

What about some wipes? I've seen packs of bird dropping wipes before.

Just looked out this morning and several bird droppings on my car... They all managed to miss the paint and all got the convertible roof!

Well, after posting some pics on facebook, having a zoologist for a son and a little more investigating it turns out that these yellow spots on the cars could be from Bees dropping polen and othe wonderful excrements. The polen is aparrently mixed with honey. Annoying i know that much, i have washed the car twice and been out with the quick detailer 6 out of 7 days. I have not even driven the car this week. Grrr!
