fujitoyo filters

Featured Replies

anyone with any experience of these Taiwan?   filters

Never heard of 'em. Where did you (or were you considering) getting them from?  Are they from ECP / GSF or the like?

Did you try a Google then read bobistheoilguys post?

As possible to be copies / snide and made in China or even Manchester like any other car part.

Buyer Beware and buy from Trusted Traders or Businesses that you have come back on if they ended up with poor copies of the real thing

that they are selling to the general public.

well this one is going back   as it doesn't fill me with confidence   (not wishing to get sued :x )  however they hail from shall we say greater china and to be kind,  are pra'ps best described as a budget line,  despite being charged only  50p less than a MAHLE (not a budget price)   and seem to be handled by some outfit in Yorkshire,    maybe someone from there may like to comment

The MAHLE Oil filters i use cost me £3.04 from the Motor Factors & i do not choose these rather than VW/ Audi ones because they are less than half the price but because they

are better filters and easy to fill with oil before fitting which very much reduces the chance of Timing Chain Tensioner issues when doing a Oil & Filter Service.

just for some perspective this was for a Merc'  Fram /Crossland et-al approx £+5----£+6  Mahle £9 and     this "budget price filter"   £8.50
