Engine swop for 2010 octavia 4x4 1.9tdi

Hi all, my 2007 Octavia vrs is on its last legs so I have been offered my dads octavia the one in the topic title. I'm looking for advice on swopping the engine for something bigger maybe the engine out of another vrs. Also would it be worth swopping anything else off my vrs maybe the brakes, exhaust, seats, door cards etc. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
