central locking fault

Featured Replies

Good evening,

Today i have discoverd there is a fault with my central locking while i was driving i heard the car lock but none of the pins had gone down which was strange.

As i got home i locked the car and then unlocked it by pressing the fob once.

Normally pressing once the driver door opens only but now the passenger one is too but with a delayed reaction.

the interior light doesnt come on either, the door open symbol doesnt show either but does when all others are open.

what could the fault be and how much am i looking at to get it replaced.

many thanks martin

Sounds like moisture issues , had the same on my car which then cleared up in spring. Been a good Oct so far so doubt i will see this until late Oct early Nov but suggest you run a de-humidifier in your car one weekend and see how much water it collects.
