 Going to do a brake fuild change can anyone tell me do i keep the engine running so the servo is running or not also do i have the handbrake on or off local garage has said £30 to do the job but i would like to do it my self know its done then

Sorry can't answer the technical questions but have factored in the cost of taking the used fluid to an authorised disposal site?

When i changed my brake fluid on my octavia i used a ezibleed pressure bleeder,i didnt have the car running or the handbrake on. £30 is a good price.

Yes if you're going to do it yourself then an ezibleed a worthwhile investment.

Engine should be off.

Handbrake should be off.

Don't forget to bleed the clutch too.

Hi is there a different way to bleed the clutch

Hi is there a different way to bleed the clutch

I dunno where in the sequence it goes (I guess last because the slave cylinder is closest to the reservoir), but the reason for saying to do it is that the clutch and brakes use the same reservoir.

where is the bleed nipple for the clutch anyone done this job

The bleed nipple is down on the clutch housing, follow the pipe.

Remove the airbox for access and be gentle with the nipple, it's plastic.
