Looking for any advice on swapping my 1.6 mpi aee for a 1.6 16v avy,

So far I have engine, box, all running gear, Ecu and loom

I know I need to sort;

Swap the tin sump over from the Aee for better clearance

Use ECU and wiring loom

Use pedal sensor for variable valve timing modification

I think I can use the Skoda box with a decent clutch

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!

You will be able to use the skoda gearbox using the adaptor plate that it uses to match up to the AEE, if i remember corrrectly you just have to take one of the dowels out. I ran a standard clutch on my 1.6 16v,seemed to cope fine.

You will need to make a custom drivers side engine mount/bracket.

Does the original drive shaft fit back on the AVY engine?

You can use both Skoda driveshafts if that is what you're asking.
