Returning to the fold of Skoda ownership after many moons.

I live between Alsace in eastern France & Berkshire and due to certain complications resulting in more frequent trips, have just acquired an Octavia vRS Blackline TDI DSG.

First time with a DSG and initial impressions are good and it should be a good combination for my 475 mile commute.

Can't say I'll be doing any modifications save for enabling Bluetooth but there may be tweaking...

It is tht but you get used to it. Eventually.

I did ponder something a little softer, especially considering the state of the roads around Reading - but the vRS copes better than it should over them. At least one of my friends is already converted!
No such problems in France though...
