Really really dirty car to clean, whats best?

Featured Replies

Long story short,

My 309Gti project shell has been in storage at my parent's for last few years,

Anyway the car cover and tarpaulin covering it got died of age so were removed before they caused any damage from moving around on car,

I then had to move shell and has since been sat under a row of trees for 8 months so you can imagine what it looks like now,

More green than the red it should be,

If i was at work id just cover it in TFR and then blast it with pressure washer,

I have moved shell again as its sat on an old caravan chassis but need to clean it before i can put another cover on it,

My parents do have a karcher pressure washer,

Anybody any suggestion on best stuff to use to get worst of crap off???

Surely a good soak with hot as possible water first wouldn't be a bad move.

Boiling hot towels, lie them on the worst affected areas and let them heat / steam some of the dirt loose perhaps?

Any chance of getting hold of some snowfoam?

G101 diltued about 1:5 with hot water in a pressure sprayer. Spray all over and leave to dwell. Then blast off with pressure washer.
