heys guys,

 

I was having a little problem with the gauge because it never stays in the middle like any other TDI. it moves down a bit...I bought a new genuine sensor, fitted today and now I believe it's even worst...

 

gauge show a 1/4 and a half, then goes up almost to middle, then goes down again to 1/4 and a half...

 

I've had this problem in my Octavia but put new sensor and the gauge was in the middle like always.

 

Is there any other sensor to change or is this normal?

it goes up and down, minimum is 1/4 and a half, and it never reaches the exact middle.

lol that's not my engine, it's a net picture but soon it's going to be clean

There are lots of junk thermostats out there (particularly sold by Eurocarparts / GSF).  Do yourself a favour and buy a genuine one from TPS/dealership.
