Skoda Yeti2.0L Turbo Charger Rebuilt kits

Featured Replies

Does anyone have the knowledge regarding the turbocharger rebuilt kit used for Skoda Yeti 2.0 L diesel engines.  May be a Garrette model ?

But which one ? .

Must be easier and cost effective  than changing a whole new turbocharger !

Don't want to get into trouble for being OT (off topic) but some background rambling about your Indian travels would be very interesting.......after you've solved your problem of course

Has your turbo failed ?

Do you have a reason to think the turbo is more likely to fail than any of the other 100's of component on the car?

I'm not aware of it being a weak point on these engines, which are widely used across the VAG range.

And if it did fail, how do you know it would fail in a way that it was rebuildable ?

It could cost more in labour to rebuild a faulty turbo than just fit a replacement or exchange unit (unless you're DIY'ing it of course).

I'd just drive the car and enjoy it, rather than worry about all the things that could go wrong.

If you really do want to worry about something, worry about the EGR assembly or the Haldex clutch failing :D

I have found the best rebuilt turbo charger DIY guide on the web in the below link.  This should work for the YETI .

This would not cost you more than 90 GBP to get your turbo moving ...
