Stupid door key

Featured Replies

Central locking (aftermarket) button fell off, so I've been using the keys to get in and out..

Now the car won't lock - key turns but thats it, key opens the door barely - scared of locking myself out.

Now I've searched for forum for barrel replacement etc, what does that lower 2nd screw do? It fell in the door *sigh* anyone know what size thread it is so I can poke another bolt in there?

Couldn't get the barrel out with both screws out...

What size barrel repair kit will I need?

Cheers people

Thank you, hmm wonder how long it'll stay in place with just one bolt? Don't think undoing it actually released the locking ring (the lock has never worked on passenger side) probably gonna be a p.i.t.a... Door cards off again job... Yay

If anyone has their door in bits atm - can u tell me the thread that is supposed to be on the 2nd nut so I can just wedge something in there for the most - thanks muchly
