Darkside clutch advice

Featured Replies

Hello again. A week in to owning the vrs 170 all is pretty decent. All lights out on dash so fingers crossed. The car goes very well. Anyway, as mentioned the clutch/dmf will be changed soon so searches online took me to darkside development. I've used them before but just for little things. They are competetive price wise. Emailed them today the full kit they recommended comes in at £375. That's clutch/dmf/new slave/bolts. I think this is a great price. Thats a Sachs kit btw. So, does anyone have any experience of them and any other companies i could check out?

There are companies such as Shark Performance, Jabbasport and RTech which can do what you are after. They are all companies I have used and would highly recommend them all.

Thanks. I'll check those out tomorrow. I'm not after a performance clutch just a replacement for standard i think which i believe is strong enough as the car just has a remap. Any thoughts on that price?

Without even searching for a price, that's looks like a bargain for everything you get in it. I've seen prices for cars with only about 50bhp more and twice the price.

Yeah i think it's a great price. When i have the funds that's what I'll be buying from.
