Guys I closed tye boot today but on the dash it still shows as being open... And it keeps the interior lights on and idea how to sort this?

Check that it's fully shut. When I bought my car, the bump stops on the boot were set a bit high so it took a huge slam to get it to close properly.

 

If that's not the problem it's probably the switch in the lock module or damaged wiring somewhere: either would result in the BCM not getting the boot closed signal.

Yep boot fülly shut.. Will try investigate the switch

Diagnostics on the BCM will tell you if there's a fault.

I agree with both; the problem is probably either that the boot is a touch proud (look critically at the shuts near the trailing edge) or else it's the switch (check diagnostics).

OK guys I've ordered switch.. But could get the interior lights to go out so has to disconnect tye battery för the night very annoying problem to have

The interior lights should go out by themselves after about 5 minutes if you leave the car as it is.
