Can i fit fabia vrs suspension on a standard fabia?

Featured Replies

My fabia standard sdi is due new suspension all round but i was wondering if i can fit the vrs suspension to it

The strut and hub carrier are different on the SDI, it has the smaller brakes fitted, so the front struts from a VRS wouldn't suit, the rears would fit but why would you bother, just get an Eibach spring kit and replace the standard shocks if you're on a budget.

Thanks for the reply. I dont suppose you would have a link to the springs?

Quite aside from the above, the masses and ARB rates are different, so the vRS spring and damper rates are wrong for other modeals of Fabia.

Vrs dampers are the same as the sport dampers. I would get new vrs/sport dampers and try some vrs springs. You may find the front sits higher due to weight. If so then get eibach springs. The stock vrs springs are stiffer than the normal model eibach springs.

They will fit yes. It will sit a bit higher than a vrs at the front but no higher than the sdi did originally
