I have been a bit quiet on here recently with relocation to Yorkshire, changing jobs, buying house etc, but I am now in the process of spoiling the skip with some new bits, just had four newish tyres, going in soon for turbo back stainless seeing as how the back box fell off months ago (MOT due ) but looking down the road the turbo has now covered 185K with 115K on stage 1 and LPG so in the very near future if a new turbo is going to be required the question is - Which one?

BBT hybrids are well thought of, sponsor the mk1 vRS facebook page I think, K03S hybrid for about £700 ish ? BBT (beach buggy Turbos) also have a facebook page... I was thinking of them when I upgrade (My turbo is original item on 170,000 miles, my car was only stage 1 since /feb though at 150k....

where is the closest reliable installer as I am just outside Pontefract/Castleford?  when the time comes I guess it will be wellycooler/BBT/remap to suit.

hey guys, what about AET hybrid K03s?  I am struggling to find some feedback/reviews on them.

What power did you get out of it? Do you also have rods?

It was a built AMK with Eagle rods.

 

Didnt get to the final mapping stage but 300+ would have been easily achieved
