when i was driving my Skoda Fabia diesel crdi model 2012 car i sudenly cut the power and engine get sut down after its i've checked the battery condition but it was is in good condition. After long cranking engine its not get start after that i call technician of skoda car and check all fuses and relay of FIP but they are working properly but he hasn't find out the supply at CRDI pump when he cranking then he asked me for replacement for its crank shaft sensor. So wanna know about does it possible its heppend due to sensor failuer.

My 1.6tdi Fabia engine cut out once. It would not start. The starter cranked the motor but would not fire up. after 30 minutes I tried again but pumped the accelerator pedal whilst cranking. After 1 minutes cranking the engine fired up. I can only think it must have been fuel starvation. The problem has not returned.
