Ignition switched live in engine bay

Featured Replies

I'm looking for an ignition switched live feed in the engine bay to link to the front sidelight bulbs

got the wiring done so just need to find a feed which is only on with the ignition

Will only be 10 watts so no big current draw

Wiper motor is easy enough if you are handy with a multimeter

where is the wiring to this? do i just have to trace it back from the motor connection itself?

Under the plastic cover where the wiper arms come through it. It's on drivers side . Or failing that if it's for some auxiliary lights you could use a voltage sensing relay so they would only work when the engine is running

in the end I decided to just run a wire from the fusebox, across to the passenger footwell and through the washer pipe hole which works great - i did look into the wiper motor but there was very little cable slack to use

Thanks for your suggestion
