Auxiliary spots / fogs

Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted any auxiliary spots/fogs to a mk!!! Suggestions please for make/ brackets. Good ones for use in Mid Wales lanes  not driving in town posing

You can buy an oe kit

It won't have cornering light ability but at least it won't look too tacky

I'll find you a link

Let us know what you find that would work.

A Rally Type Bonnet pod is obviously overkill..

Spotlights can obviously be useful in the right situation, off road etc.

As to driving country roads and the likes you can obviously use Full Beam to light the road if there are no other drivers or road users to be dazzled.

& if you are not able to use Full Beam because of other road users you should not have the Spot Lights on.

How about a bracket on the front bumper which attaches using the number plate screws...

And perhaps some double sided tape to make sure it doesn't move..

Then a small led light bar ?

I would like the driving lights/fog lights on mine too, so would like to know if there was a kit to install it...

Hi Guys thanks for all the ideas.. I really would love the idea of a lamp pod for a grand or so but I think that's  overkill but the best way of avoiding a ditch in a back lane across the Brecon Beacons.

(I actually do around 20,000 a year on roads)))like this so a bit of extra is needed.

Just today I have found a v good local mechanic who builds rally cars from floor pan up and he says he doesn't think it would be a problem to knock up a couple of suitable brackets.

Appointment with him shortly so will let you know the outcome
