Heater problem

Featured Replies

My 2004 fabia vrs is blowing cold air from passenger side footwell and warm air everywhere else any suggestions

Likely a sticking flap in ducting (heater flap/motor thingy), do you hear a prolonged small electric motor type sound when you turn the ignition on in the mornings that continues for a while, or when you change heat settings etc?

I'm assuming, incorrectly maybe, that the OP is getting cold air to the passenger's footwell and warm/hot air to the driver's footwell, for that to happen you would need two zone heating control and for it to be due to flapmotor problems. So something else is wrong, spongy seal on that side of the temperature flap fallen off?

Edit:- maybe check that the cold air on the passenger's side is coming out from where it should be and not just from a crack/breakage on the main fan assembly.
