Central or Remote Central Locking?

Featured Replies

Hey there, just picked up a 2004 Skoda Fabia Classic HTP 1.2L (what i presume to be a base model without central locking) as my first car and i was just wondering if it is at all possible to get either central locking fitted to the car without costing an arm and a leg?

Any info sincerely appreciated :)

Blane- Skoda do /did a central locking kit for the fabia, but last time I looked it was (IMHO) excessively priced. On my "to do" list( has been for a few years now ) is a project to convert mine to remote central locking. Plenty of kits for central locking on market, if you google. I've got my own project in the pipeline, but I've just spotted this one, which is possibly not bad for someone not versed in car electrics/electronics.

Random question, do you know of anything like this that has 4 motors but has an alarm as well? just so i don't have to keep 2 key fobs, one being for central locking and one for alarm

Rightclick do some excellent kits, have installed two now and both are still working fine despite the first one being nearly 4 years old. They have all sorts of kits available, including alarms that are all controlled by one fob. Just Google their name to find their website
