Reflector for what, doesn't the bixenon headlights make that unnecessary?

You still need reflectors for when the xenon are turned off. They're also there to help fill up the rest of the headlight assembly.

Well I still don't get what function they have. Don't the bixenon serve both the low and high beam?

They are a mirror - reflector. Simple. Yes the HID lamps do main and dip. No light source with the reflector, it is just a reflector.

It's a design feature, meant to be a homage to Czech crystal or glass can't recall which.
