Service parts - Halfords or Skoda?

Featured Replies

my car is due for a service in a few months.i'll be taking it to the local garage to get it done.

to save time and spread the cost (buy 1 item a week) shall i buy the oil filter, air filter and spark plugs etc from Halfords (their make or other) or go to a skoda garage (or online).

ps i'm a tight git !

go to skoda mate!

Why not check out prices from both and then decide if you havent ruled one out :)

Also check www.eurocarparts.com :D Excellent service and cheap as chips too :D

Chris

I would support my dealer rather than Halfords every time.

use skoda genuine parts mate, so if you have to do any warrenty work they cant be funny about anythin.

Forget Halfords quick

I'd be suprised if Halfords is cheaper anyhow.

Don't forget that this is a VAG car so if the Skoda dealer is a drive away you can go to Seat or VW if they are closer for the same parts. The part No is usually on the part so if you quote that you will be sure the correct part is supplied.

I've often found that they are cheaper than Halfords and the quality is much better.

also try GSF car parts, they sell gen and non gen skoda parts and proper VAG oil (quantum) at good prices.:D

If you don't want to go to a stealer, how about Butts?

http://www.jhmbuttco.com/

They do pattern parts and styling bits too
