Hi All,

have just joined the forum and read posts re "silent" turn indicators and seatbelt warnings.

 

Car is a 2007 tdi 4x4 estate purchased as a tow car and which has clearly been well used. All panel warnings are working (turn / 4 deg / seatbelt etc) but no sounds.

 

I understand from the forum that the sounds are delivered by the audio system, but is there a definitive fix for reinstating the sounds pls? 

 

Don't really care about the seatbelt and 4 deg ones, but no indicator sound is a real nuisance - Is there any chance this can be fixed without replacing the instrument cluster, or is it possibly something else?

 

Any help much appreciated.

The sounds come from the clocks.

Thanks - so the clocks, ie: the whole instrument cluster - would have to replaced?
