Do these only fold when you park the car and remove the key from the ignition or does the driver have control over where and when to fold? I'm thinking of the situation where you'd want to fold them to drive into a tight space e.g. through a garage doorway.

On my 230 with power folding mirrors they fold when up lock the car or there's a setting on the KnoB on the drivers door

Heat mirrors

Adjust Right

Adjust Left

Fold

 

Hope that helps,   I also think, with out going to look cos it's freezing outside, you can turn off the fold with key in the car settings on the radio
