Afternoon all!

Has anyone else tried these as sidelights? I'm not sure if they are Can Bus friendly or not because after installation and a test they only stayed lit for 5 seconds then went off?

If I remember correctly I got bulb out warnings as they aren't CAN-bus friendly.

 

To fix it I disabled the bulb checks (cold diagnostic/warm diagnostic) for them which sorted it. I'm not sure if something similar needs doing on the pre-FL

If I remember correctly, I changed address 3092 from 0x01 to 0x81 and address 3093 from 0x13 to 0x73.

 

It's not possible using VCDS, you'll need something that can directly edit the BCM EEPROM such as ODIS-e or VCP
