Hi all, I've just bought myself a 14 plate VRS. The stereo has the phone button that mutes the stereo but the steering wheel has a phone symbol too. When I go to set up a connection I don't get the telephone option. Do I need to activate Bluetooth somewhere to get this phone feature working? Apologies for the stupid questions.

Possibly via vcds to program it, but that's assuming you've even got the module that allows you to connect a phone to the stereo. Both those items have the symbols as standard but it doesn't mean the car came with the ability to make calls, etc.

Search on here and you will be able to find out how much it costs to get the magic box to allow it. Think it's £150-200ish.

Thanks I'll have a good search through the forum. Maybe get an after market upgrade if it's not fitted.
