Fuel lines

Featured Replies

Long story short I've had the head off and polished it, looks bloody fab. Would upload some pics but anyone who owns or has owned an iPhone will know how prone to dying they are which meant I lost the 300 odd pictures of every step with the car that's got it to where it is now. Anyway when dismantling everything I couldn't help but think wouldn't it be better to have two inline fuel filters as opposed to one big one (given whether it could work or not)? Obviously one is a return line and would have to be recirculated back into the fuel feed but I couldn't help but wonder.. Plus if the fuel pressure ever was increased the necessary hardware would already be there. Thoughts?

Thanks

Not necessary to filter the return line and the big filter is big because it filters very fine and you need the large surface area to avoid pressure drop across the filter, so if you were to run a higher fuel pressure you'd need an even bigger filter.

Thank you for the reply. See what I can do with the one that's in it.
