I have a 2009 preface fabia 1.4 TDi, born with H4 headlamps, i bought a set of projectors so i could fit xenon, all went well installing them BUT, when i put the high beam on, its shorting out.

The shutter opens fine(but is shorting, ALL lamps in my cluster is blinking when i use high beam), and the bulp goes out :(, i have tried to wire the projector directly to ground and high beam, but its still the same, when i retrofit other cars with chinese projectors the wiring goes:

GROUND = Everything that needs ground, here its the H7 bulb and the projector
H4 Low beam+ = On the H7
H4 High Beam+ = on the projector, so when i set it to high beam it will open the shutter.


BUT, when i do this it shorts the car :(! 

has anyone done this conversion?

No One? :(

I have projectors on my 60 elegance and If I am right the projector is dipped beam and the H7 on its own is full beam. 

 

Maybe try changing it round?

There are only h7 only lamps for the preface :(
