"Sport" spec - what do you get?

Featured Replies

I've recently picked up my new Fabia, Monte Carlo. The guy who has owned it since new said it had the sports pack option but didn't say much about it.

I know the sport comes with Monte Carlo style seats but since it's Monte Carlo anyway, seems kind of pointless.

All I can see to belive him is it has front and back electric windows which all the sport models have and not all Monte / VRS have.

Going to check all the build codes later to see what it brings up but just doing some digging for now.

So yeah... anyone that knows what extras you get with the sport pack that can kindly let me know :)

Never heard of a 'Sport Pack' for a Monte Carlo.   There were Monte Carlo's or Monte Carlo Tech.   & Skoda speak of 'Sports Suspension' standard on Monte Carlo or vRS

and an Option on other Fabia.

Then Dealer option lowering springs on a vRS.

Don't think he's a car guy so sport probably just means the Monte Carlo spec.

I'll see what the build codes show up. Probably nothing since it would be a dealer option rather than build option but you never know.

Are all 4 electric windows rare'ish?

I had never noticed really but once I started looking couldn't see many

I was looking for a Monte for months and never seen one with rear electrics.

Mine allegedly came from the factory with a mfsw and I've never came across another one that wasn't retro fitted.

I have the brochures at home and can look next week, someone can maybe check sooner.

I seem to remember Rear Electric Windows could be fitted as a Facrory Build Option on Monte Carlos, but not as an option on Monte Carlo Tech Hatch or estates.

Ah awsome, that's great!

Sadly mine has the red Monte Carlo seats so they will be coming out if anyone's interested :S

That is strange, I don't think I've seen any with factory MFSW on the Fabia.

It's also got Bluetooth that I didn't know about so that's a nice bonus :D

I thought that too and as you can see it wasn't on the option list, I even emailed skoda at the time and still have that email and they confirmed the mfsw was a factory fit option on the Monte Carlo.

Would the list in the boot have mfsw in the codes if it was a factory fit option?

I don't think so, I didn't see an option (without mfsw) or similar but it's always good to chexk
