Stop light bulb

Featured Replies

Hi

Can anyone tell me what type of bulb is the rear stop light bulb.

Think it is a normal off-set pinned twin filament bulb

If your car is like mine Kevin1 the bulb you need is the same as the spare fog light bulb already in the nearside rear light assembly.

Meaning a no cost repair.

Wow something free from Skoda lol.

The part no. For the rear light will be the same for all vehicles so the bulb gets fitted.

Well mine is used as a rear fog light, I made a circuit to drive the bulb without affecting the bulb failure or canbus. It is totally isolated too. Mind you, not used it yet, as all to often seen, some people put their rear fog lights on when there is only a mist.

So now you can fix BOTH problems with one easy bulb transfer!!

You should have only one rear fog light as the rear fog needs to be distinct from a brake light, otherwise it just causes confusion.
