i spotted,or should i say one came past me , driven like that type of car should be driven ( brain disengaged )

First one iv saw. It looked lush in the steel grey.

When I enquired about delivery on one I was told they're now taking orders for 2007.

i didnt think they were out yet either. definately was one, had the megane 225 type twin center exit exhausts about a foot apart at the back and all the badging.

Yep local dealer says if i was to order one now i'd have it May 2007!!!!!

I dont like it to be honest. Looks to high. Ill list my griefs so i have reason:

Dont like the chrome front part

Dont like the wheels look to messy and spindly

Dont like exhausts too close together makes the car look high

Like the seats

Like the engine

I just thik the old model R32 had just the right look, low, mean, phat and phast. new one looks to refined, tall etc.

if you pot them next to each other it looks like the guy in school thats dead good at sports and built like a brik **** house against the lad whos always got his chem homework on before time due.

I hope this helps change your mind.

P.s. if VW are overlooking this board yes i am available for a job as one of your chief designers.

Went on sale last November. Seem to be selling rather well too, it's surprising how many people have 24k to spend on a Golf!

It's a great car but it just looks too subtle (although I prefer the word "bland") - maybe this is the way VAG are going - I don't think the Octy II vRS looks "mean" enough either, compared with the old model.

Yet the new RS4 looks super mean. A lot better than th last one imho.
