Featured Replies

hi all members i have a problem from few days as the car in the morning after the choke work the rpm become on 1.5 but it dont back normally until the temprature become to 85

Sorry, but I don't understand what you are asking?

Post 3 photos as follows:

  • general view of the engine bay
  • general view of the carburettor (air filter housing removed)
  • detail view of the choke mechanism

Mention if you have made modifications to the cooling and/or electrical systems. Also if the carburettor has any modifications.

i mean the car become at idle after a long time ((until the fan begin to start))

no modifications

What you're saying is that the engine is running at 1_500rpm even on a closed throttle until it's almost up to normal operating temperature?

If so, then that would make me suspect the automatic choke mechanism.

  • 2 weeks later...

today i replace my choke pull off and it started fine and the black smoke was gone, and the fast idle didnt remain for a long time also

can you tell me what you do exactly because i have the same problem

Check the autochoke first if its sticking or not working, if its good check the choke pull off by sucking with a vacuum hose on it and if it doesnt hold vacuum replace it
