Superb 2017, Nexus 6 with Android 7 (”Nougat ”), Android Auto not working

Featured Replies

Android Auto is not installable from Play store in Finland, because it isn’t officially supported here. But I installed v. 2.0.6427 (29 Nov) from ApkMirror. The app starts but when I try to connect to the car via USB, I get a “connection error 8” and an explanation that I should check if my car is supported. According to Android Auto web site, Superb 2016 is supported but the only supported 2017 model is the Kodiaq. I’ve tried to launch Android Auto both before and after connecting the USB cable, and I’ve tried USB debugging on and off.

Any suggestions? Further info?

Best regards, Antero
