Fabia vrs

Featured Replies

Hi all I had a set of barum bravius 3 tyres fittedon the front of my vrs a month or so ago . I found them more then adequate for my driving , so I put 2 new ones on the back .

This is where it's gone strange . I now get a strange feeling when changing lanes on motorway from rear . Kinda like a squishy feeling .. I have only done 100 miles with them. And run them at 32psi . What's your thoughts guys ? Soft side walls ??

Regards Tony

I find the Bravarus feels sort of round-shouldered too, front and back.

Morning ken . Are you running the same tyres ?

If so have you altered the pressures at all ? Also are you running stock suspension

What I mean is that, when I fit Bravaris (front or rear) I get a slightly "soft" feel compared with any of Michelin, Toyo Proxes T1-R and Maxxis MAZ-1. All on stock Octavia suspension and 16x6.5J ET42 wheels.

Tyre pressure - All as Skoda recommended except the Toyos which need a couple of PSI more to deal with under-inflated edge wear.
