Hi, just bought myself a 2009 Octavia only 1874 miles

Anything I should watch out for?

Rear wiper has stopped working?

you'd have more luck posting this in the proper octavia section, rather than the build projects section

How did you find one with such low mileage?!

I have a 2010 year 160bhp Dsg half leather, mfsw, and it's the best car I've owned. I've added a few tweaks, Nav, Bluetooth, Dab. Led Footwell lighting, led interior lights. To name a few. I'm a freak of nature in terms of cleaning it. I hate mucky cars. The only thing I had replaced in 2 and a half years was a clutch pack, which is a common failure, mines done 90,000 miles and drives like a dream. I should post some photos as it's in fantastic condition..

2009 is the Gen2 engine (some code other than BZB).

Timing chain and associated tensioners.

Water pump / housing

Carboned inlet tracts / valves.

PCV

Diverter valve

Coil packs

Spark plugs

Cant think of anything else for the engine but a Stage 1 remap is almost compulsory for more smiles per mile.

If DSG then all the usual problems with the DQ200

It took a while to find. It's from a deceased estate. It's been in a garage since 2011 and started occasionally by the gardener.
