Double DIN headunit

Featured Replies

Looking for setup photos of peoples double din setups in their mk1 fabia. Currently have it completely OEM but would like more features i.e bluetooth and DAB minimum but want it to look as OEM as possible. Would appreciate some photos!

Going by your project thread you have moved onto a Mk2 now, so I guess no point taking a picture of double din setups now?

I would love to see some please :-)

Golfchick has moved on to a mk2.

I am sticking with my mk1 and interested in upgrading to a double din

So pictures/set ups please!

Here is my Kenwood DDX5015DAB:

thanks for that, helps a lot. Did you add the vrs background yourself?

Can you change it all yourself display wise (to something simpler?) and button illumination can you change the eject button colour seeing as you have two different colours?

I take it the surround came with the stereo, minus the top trim obviously?

The background can be changed by using jpg picture, there are a few simple ones that come with it, think it defaults to plain black when installed.

I think the eject button stays red but you can change the button colour (I have it automatically rotating between all of the colours)

Yes surround came with it, top trim brought from skoda.

I think the touch screen interface is a bit old hat compared to some but its ok, I have usb stick in the glove box, mic by the drivers sun visor and reverse camera fitted.
