Radio weirdness

Featured Replies

So I've had my car for 33 months (and 42k miles) now and it has been faultless (OK, not strictly true, but it's been good!!)  However this morning when I came out to it and started it the radio (standard Bolero) had somehow reset and all the DAB presets were lost along with the logos.  When I parked it up last night everything was fine.

Any ideas what might have happened?  Anyone had this before?  Is it worth telling the dealer as it's only got 3 months warranty left?  Is it likely to resolve itself or will I need to retune and re-logo everything?

Thanks in advance.

There was an update to the Bolaro Radio. The one in my Ex Vrs ( 63 plate ) used to do funny things first thing in a morning if the weather was cold or damp.

I'd pop in to the dealers and tell them. If it's reported before the warranty expires, make sure they log it, any claims/repaired can be made at a later date as you reported it within the warranty period

Yep. Mine has done the very same once in the past. All my presets and logos gone. What it had also done is add random stations to the preset list as well. I told the dealer. They couldn't find anything wrong and it's never done it again.
