Aerial cables

Featured Replies

I need some help! I removed my bolero this morning and the aerial cables are connected to the headunit with a plastic connector. The new stereo has an adaptor which takes the 2 cables into 1 but it seems the plastic connector needs to come off. Any ideas?

Post a pic mate...

The plastic connector on the right of the photo.

Does your new stereo just have one aerial connector on?

I meant a pic of the cables on the head unit mate.

Oh haha. I'll pull it out in a bit as I boxed it all back up. It is a normal aerial connection with a lead that splits to the 2 connectors which looks like it would fit together if the plastic connector from the car wasn't there....haha

Look on the back of the original headunit where the white dual antenna connection was. Is there still some white plastic connected or is it just two metal prongs?

Looking at the image you posted, you might have pulled the white plastic off which is still in the connector...

So the white connector comes off?

Well spotted -there should be a little plastic coloured tab that you slide to release the connector there will still be a white connector on the cable but with a double Fakra socket.

So the white connector comes off?
