I've done it. Got myself a full milltek exhaust system with sports cat and non res on my vrs estate 2.0 tsi dsg and it's sounds amazing

Gone the custom route. Tailored to my specs, looke far superior to off the shelf exhaust systems

Out of interest what do you mean by custom, what have you had done?

Cheers.

AAS in Newcastle upon Tyne make a bespoke stainless steel exhaust to your desire. Sports with noise or just a little more burble than standard. Or even direct OE replacement with life time warranty. I went down the road of sports with a little more burble was happy with results.

yes you can hear it inside the car but it's a nice sound and not a drone sound

Anything will improve the noise from stock!

Ant's sounds nice, increases the very muted standard noise.

A few options and depends how deep your pockets are.

What sort of budget do you have? Ant's system, new will set you back over £1000.

Most from down pipe will cost well over £1000. Catbacks only should be about £350-500

if I would have brought mine new, it would have cost about £2000. It's about £1300 for the sports cat and £770 for the cat back

This is my Milltek Catback.   This was when I first got it but the sound has settled down now.  I turned off the sounddaktor as well.

if you get a milltek or another well known company you'll get a good price when you come to sell it
