Featured Replies

Hi could anyone suggest were to purchase a set of front drilled 280mm discs from it seems to be a bit of a mission to find ave looked in al the usual places.

eBay europarts.

But no luck yet the only ones that a have found they are wanting £150 + just a little bit pricey for me cheers.

I can't see why you'd want cross-drilled (or grooved) discs on a taxi? They're noisier and less smooth than plain ones, will eat pads, and don't offer any benefits until you start getting the pads hot enough to gas.

Thanks for that just for looks behind the alloys but like you said if there no good then smooth it is cheers.

Just got for some decent normal discs. I used Pagid on my Octavia. The middle bits and the hub was still looking shiny and new after 12 months with no rust showing.

Paged +1.

Pagid +2

I went Brembo. About the same price as Pagid but less dust and a name synonymous with quality braking components.

Fitted them on my Scout about three months ago. No problems so far.

Good cheers

I normally go for pagid or brembo for brakes but recently tried a make called APEC on ebay and can't fault the quality especially if you are looking for value for money as they also offer 2 year warranty when discs and pads are changed together.

Thanks for that
